EasyTagger is online
Hello everybody! π
Today EasyTagger is officially online! π€
On the website, it's possible to try for free the API to understand how it works, and on RapidAPI users can get an API key to make requests by code.
The business model is freemium: there's a free plan that consists of 3.000 requests per month, and there are paid plans for more requests.
The next steps are to write tutorials and use cases for EasyTagger and to work on marketing in general. π£
Thank you for reading and have a nice day!
About
I believe that a Topic Tagging API with topics spanning many subjects can be a useful building block to perform text analysis and quick document organization.

@bornot I'm curious for API businesses, do you run any E2E / smoke tests on your APIs to prevent bugs etc or is it mostly lower level unit tests?
Good luck on the launch!
@michaelcho API marketplaces like RapidAPI usually have API testing tools for E2E tests, have a look at https://rapidapi.com/blog/api-testing. For my API, I decided to implement E2E tests and unit tests by myself, because with code I have more control of what to test and because I want to standardize testing across my projects.
Thank you :D
@bornot thanks for the reply!
What do you use for your e2e tests? Selenium/ cypress?
You are welcome! I'm just using a second container with Python + requests + unittest, from which I make API calls to the prediction container (which is the same that is connected to RapidAPI) and check the results.
