1st month earning $18k+ in affiliate commissions

I was paid $18,236 in affiliate commissions in July, as reported here: https://ebizfacts.com/finance-reports/july-2020/

That was a massive jump from the $8339 earned the previous month, a 218% increase.

Including other sources of income, my business earned $18,562 in July, which is by far the most it has ever earned in a single month.

I credit the success to a few things:

– Traffic boost since the latest Google core algorithm update

– SEO tweaks and improvements from earlier this year starting to pay off

– Newest review content starting to rank higher in Google

– More people looking for info related to making money online during the pandemic

– A lot of luck

Nice work. Curious and honest question and I'd like some transparency, please.

Do you promote real services? Write about real services?
Or is this a "make money off writing about making money" and providing this as hope which services to promote these?

You noted you wrote reviews on "how to make money" courses.

Do you think this is real value (brutally honest question sorry) or is this further spinning the " make money from teaching others how to make money via courses on coaching others on coaching others"

Hope you don't mind the analysis.

Thanks and keep up the awesome work.

I do think it's real value, yes. But I would say that. It's my site 😜

I'd invite you to go read some of my reviews for yourself. Then you can make up your own mind if I'm trying to promote crappy courses or trying to help people make better decisions.

I don't think I can say anything here that will convince you either way.

Hopefully Niall gives you an answer on this, but I was pleasantly surprised upon checking out his site. Although he has a financial incentive to praise the courses he reviews because of the affiliate links, he is really good at properly reviewing them and criticising fairly. Definitely doesn't shy away from calling out the bullshit (as I saw here https://ebizfacts.com/sam-ovens-review-consulting-accelerator/#misleadingquestionable) and provides really useful info for folks searching for honest reviews before they make a purchase.

The fact is, some 'make money online' courses are genuinely useful and some are scams. It's not all Ouroborous - style meta-teaching.

Thanks for the kind words 🙏

For any credit repair services just mail him through [email protected] or Text him via (740) 214-6282. He did some tremendous credit work on my credit bureaus report by erasing all the past eviction, negative items and help me to boost my credit score back to 820 across the three credit bureau report. I can’t believe I could got approved for car loan within the next few days and just moved in a nice apartment with my life. I will always be grateful to him for erasing my bad credit records off my credit bureaus profile.

Awesome progress! Wish you to keep growing at this pace. And hope to see an update :)

Got a few questions if you don't mind.

Does most of the income come from one product (like the 80/20 rule) or is it all coming from here and there?

Do you monetize your email list with the products you review?

Do you actually buy the products to review or do you have some research methods?

  4. 1

Are you open to accepting products for affiliate sales?

Impressive Backlink profile, do you think that nofollow backlinks has helped your rankings?

    1. 1

I have no idea tbh. Sorry!

what exactly do you use to capture the email on your front page? is it some snippet from some newsletter provider?
uBlockOrigin blocks it for me in firefox. I have noticed that on a couple of sites.

    1. 1

Strange, it's just a simple HTML form, no iframe or anything.

I'm using Sendy for my newsletter and used the form code they provided.

Does uBlockOrigin also block the comment form on this page? https://ebizfacts.com/quora-sucks-marketing/#comments

        1. 1

Thanks for checking. Strange that uBlockOrigin has an issue with one HTML form and not another. Must be something in the HTML of the email capture form that makes it think it's an ad.

@ndoherty13 congrats. Do you run eBizFacts alone?

    • The video is not working on your web page.
    1. 1

Do you mean the homepage of ebizfacts.com? I just checked now and it's working. I was updating WP and plugins earlier so that might have been the issue. Do let me know if it's still not working for you.

      1. 2

not the main page. How I Track All This video was not working, but now it works.

        1. 1

Ah cool, thanks for checking it again.

Damn! That's a nice jump in revenue, I'm guessing it's due to the whole switch between people losing jobs and wanting to learn more about the online world.

Just curious, is the majority of this one-off or recurring commissions?

    1. 2

Yeah, I think the pandemic probably helped.

It's mostly one-off commissions. I have very few recurring commissions.

I had a look at the link and your post but i am not quite sure what you do.

    1. 1

Sorry, that link is to my finance report. The goal of the report is not to explain what I do, just to share the finances.

The affiliate commissions mainly come from reviews I've done of online courses. I review courses related to making money online / building an online business.
