EchoFox
AI chatbot trained on your business
I started developing a prototype for EchoFox mid July. I wanted to build a CX and marketing tool that was different from the existing train chatGPT on your docs.
The way I decided I was going to be different was to provide a better designed chat widget inspired by Intercom.
And I realized just having AI answer questions was not enough, in order for this tool to be different it needed real time chat.
After building the prototype and sharing it with a few people, I was able to get my first customer through Discord.
In the early days there is no specific thing you do, other than shout about your product in a tasteful way, get feedback and hope people see the value in it.
Once you get a few customers learn about their avatar and see how you can replicate it. Its been vital for me to start a Slack group to communicate with interested people.
It's still early, and I'm figuring out how to position differently and which channels are going to be effective.
Heres to going from $100 MRR to $10k MRR
Cheers,
Michael Aubry
About
I wanted to build a marketing and CX tool that I would personally use. I'm tired of paying Intercom thousands of dollars, and using tools like Drip to send automated emails. Also I got screwed by HubSpot.

Awesome positivity! How long did you spend building out echofox, it looks well built out already. What stack are you using?
