EchoMind- AI Voice Notes
Think it. Say it. Save it.
Hey everyone 👋
I’m a mobile developer (8+ years), and I recently launched an app called Echimind.
It’s a simple idea:
👉 Capture thoughts instantly
👉 Convert them into structured notes using AI
💡 Why I Built This
I kept running into the same problem:
Ideas come randomly
I record voice notes
But I NEVER revisit them
Most note apps didn’t help because they require too much effort.
I wanted something like:
“Speak → AI cleans it → usable note”
So I built Echimind.
⚙️ What It Does
🎤 Record voice notes instantly
🧠 Convert speech → structured notes
✨ Clean + format automatically
📂 Store and revisit easily
🛠 Tech Stack
Swift / SwiftUI
AVFoundation (audio recording)
AI APIs for transcription + summarisation
In-app purchases (premium features)
🚧 Challenges
A few real struggles I faced:
1. Audio handling is harder than expected
Edge cases everywhere:
interruptions
file management
playback issues
2. Raw transcription ≠ useful notes
AI output needed cleanup + structure to be actually usable.
3. In-app purchase UX
Restore purchase + paywall handling took longer than expected.
📈 Current Status
✅ Live on App Store
✅ Initial users onboarded
❗ Still figuring out distribution
🤔 What I Need Help With
Would really appreciate feedback on:
Is this something you’d actually use?
Does the problem resonate?
Any ideas on improving retention?
How would you position this differently?
🎯 Target Users
Builders/founders
Developers
Students
People who think a lot but don’t organise 😅
🚀 What’s Next
Smarter summarization
Tagging + search
Better UX for reviewing notes
Possibly Android version
🙌 Honest Ask
If you’ve built or used something similar:
What worked for you?
What didn’t?
And if you try it, I’d love brutally honest feedback 🙏
🔗 Happy to Share Link
Didn’t want to spam here — but I can share the App Store link if anyone’s interested.
Thanks in advance 🙌

About
I didn’t start with a big vision—I started with a personal frustration. Voice notes are easy to record but hard to use. Text notes are useful but take effort. There’s no good bridge between the two. EchoMind exists to
