Slick concept. What stands out is how you’re merging visual input with contextual memory - feels like the next logical leap for AI tools. Curious how you’re handling image-to-text precision at scale; that’s where most “snapshot” systems start to drift.

    1. 1

Its a voice to text AI based note taking app. Record, Transcribe, Translate, etc. Have you tried it ?

  4. 2

You’re shipping fast and listening to users love that 👏 Giving folders and tags to free users is a bold move. That’ll definitely help adoption and show your long-term vision. Keep building!

There are existing tools around ksut plugins

    1. 1

Totally! Each tool out there does something well but also misses a few key parts.
I just brought all those missing pieces together, kept it simple, fast, and packed with cool features.

Have you tried it yet? If you do, I’m pretty sure you’ll love it.

Every new product starts with the founder's own experience. As a founder and developer, I record a lot of thoughts, meetings, and creative ideas. When it came to finishing, organizing, and reviewing these notes, I wished for a better solution.

Echosnap AI brings seamless voice-based note-taking to you. Echosnap AI allows you to say your notes, and in return, the AI will transcribe, summarize, and organize the notes for you instantly.

The best part of Echosnap is the Ask AI feature. You can talk to Echosnap and ask questions about your notes, retrieving information without tedious scrolling.

I built Echosnap myself in the past few months. Unlike most advanced AI, I built Echosnap to be cost-effective for users. I prioritize speed, simplicity, and affordability for everyone to have access to advanced AI.

🎙️ Fast & accurate transcription

✨ AI-powered summaries

💬 Ask AI about your notes

💰 Available at an affordable price

Currently, Echosnap AI is available on iOS and will soon launch on Android and Web!

Excited to finally share this. Would love your thoughts and feedback!

That’s an exciting launch! The AI-powered edge cloud device looks promising for scaling up on-site compute and reducing latency. Love seeing innovations that bridge hardware and AI in one seamless package. Great job and good luck!

  5. 2

Congrats on the launch, Pradeep! 🎉 Love how Echosnap focuses on simplicity and affordability — that’s rare in AI tools right now. The “Ask AI about your notes” feature sounds super practical for busy founders. Great work bringing this to life! 👏

    1. 1

Thanks a lot! 😊 Really glad you liked it. I wanted to keep Echosnap simple and affordable .

  6. 2

I would like to have it on my desktop with mobile synchronization.

    1. 1

Thanks for the suggestion! 🙌 A desktop version with sync is definitely on my list, I totally see the need for that. Right now I’m focusing on polishing the mobile experience first, but cross-platform sync is coming soon! 🚀 Very soon!

  7. 2

    Cool, I'll try it

    1. 1

Awesome! 🙌 Let me know how it goes!

  8. 2

Interesting concept Pradeep. What sort of advice would you give to an aspiring entrepreneur on how to get a concept off the ground initially?

    1. 1

Thanks! 😊 Honestly, I just started small. Echosnap began as a tiny idea to make voice notes easier for myself. I didn’t have a big plan, just tried to solve one problem well and kept improving from there.

If I had to give advice: start with something simple, get feedback early, and keep building. Don’t wait for things to be perfect , progress comes from small steps. 🚀

  9. 2

Congrats on the launch — slick positioning and clear value! 🎉

Voice → transcript → summary → “Ask AI” is a great flow.

    What I love

    * Speed + affordability focus (rare combo).

    * “Ask AI about my notes” = killer retrieval UX.

    Quick ideas

    * Shortcuts & Siri intents (e.g., “Hey Siri, capture a thought in Echosnap”).

    * Markdown/Notion export + share sheet actions.

    * Smart tags & templates (meeting, standup, podcast, lecture).

    * Timestamps & highlights while recording; one-tap bookmark.

    * On-device option (Whisper/Apple STT) for privacy and offline.

I’m building a utility toolkit app (iOS) and this scratches an itch I feel daily. Happy to test and share notes if helpful—nice work!

    1. 1

Wow, thanks so much for this detailed feedback, really appreciate it! 🙏
Love those ideas, especially the Siri intents, smart tags, and timestamps while recording. Those are actually on my roadmap (and you just convinced me to prioritize them 😄).

I’d definitely love to get your feedback when you try it out, hearing from someone building in the same space means a lot. Thanks again for the kind words and support! 🚀

  10. 2

This is brilliant. The “Ask AI” layer feels like a quiet UX revolution—less about flashy features, more about emotional friction. Scrolling through notes is cognitively expensive when you're overwhelmed or in flow. Letting users ask instead of search turns retrieval into relief.

Also really appreciate your stance on affordability. I’ve been exploring emotional aid apps lately, and cost is often the barrier between someone capturing a vulnerable moment or letting it slip. Echosnap feels like it’s designed with care, not just code.

    1. 1

Thank you! that really means a lot 🙏
That’s exactly what I wanted Echosnap to feel like, light, calm, and easy to use when your mind is full. And yeah, keeping it affordable was super important to me too. Really appreciate you noticing that ❤️

  11. 2

Nice design and useful app. I have been using otter ai for notes taknig, its good to find an alternative. But how do you think it can stand out from other voice notes taking apps?

    1. 1

Thanks a lot! 🙌 Glad you liked the design. Yeah, Otter’s awesome, I’ve used it too. What I’m trying to do differently with Echosnap is keep things super lightweight and fast.
You open the app, hit record, and boom. It’s more like a voice-first personal notebook than a meeting tool.
Would love to know what features you think would make it stand out even more! 🚀

    1. 1

Thanks! Have you tried the app ? Please give it a go and share your thoughts. I'd love to hear.

  12. 2

Really smooth design👌 The overall experience feels fast and distraction free. You have nailed that “makers tool” aesthetic, simple, functional, and beautiful.

    1. 1

Thanks! Your words fuel the next build 🚀

  13. 2

Wow, this is one of those apps that instantly feels right. Smooth performance, clear typography, minimal clutter. Dark mode looks 🔥. Huge congrats on the launch.

    1. 1

Oh man your words made my day. Thank you!

  14. 2

It's great to see how lightweight this is! The dark theme is easy on the eyes. Well done on the design-performance balance! 💪

    1. 1

      Thanks! More tweaks incoming.

  15. 2

Really well executed launch 👏 I like how intuitive the interface is. Have you thought of releasing a desktop or browser version next? I’d love to use it while working on my laptop.

    1. 1

Thanks James. Yes I have plans to launch in for web.
