EchoTune

Hey IH!

I just shipped my first app to the App Store and wanted to share the journey.

What I built:

EchoTune - an iOS app that connects your Apple Music library to YouTube. Browse your recently played or playlists, tap any song, and instantly find matching videos (official, live, lyrics, reactions).

Why I built it:

As an Apple Music user, I was tired of manually searching YouTube every time I wanted to watch a music video. So I built the solution I wanted.

Tech stack:

- React Native / Expo

- Supabase (caching)

- YouTube Data API

- Apple MusicKit

Timeline:

Built it over a few weeks as a side project. Submitted to Apple, got approved, and now it's live!

What's next:

Gathering feedback and seeing if others find it useful. Planning to add features based on what users want.
