EcoEnergyCalc

Just launched EcoEnergyCalc (ecoenergycalc.com) — a collection of 19 free calculators for homeowners who want to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint. Solar savings, electric bills, carbon footprint, water usage, rainwater harvesting, and more.

Built with plain HTML/CSS/JS, hosted on GitHub Pages. Zero cost to run.

Why I built it: Government and utility websites have the data but the UX is terrible. Most people can't figure out if solar is worth it for their specific situation, or how much their old appliances are actually costing them. I wanted clean, instant, no-signup tools that just work.

Where I'm at:

• 19 calculators live

• 9 blog posts

• 1 week since launch

• 57 users so far, mostly direct traffic

• Organic search just starting — 1 page ranking in top 2 on Search Console

Goal: AdSense first, affiliate later. Targeting $1,000/month within a year.

Plan is 2 blog posts every week, tools added as needed. Will post updates here as traffic grows.
