I’m Amir. When I started building Edulavo, I thought the ultimate goal was to automate everything.

I wanted the AI to be the teacher, the curriculum designer, and the grader. I built the "Assessor Agent" to score skills and the "Curator Agent" to find videos. The tech was working. The roadmaps were personalized.

But I noticed a pattern in our beta data.

Users would generate a perfect, personalized roadmap. They would start strong. But by module 3 or 4, drop-off rates spiked.

The problem wasn't the content. The content was perfect. The problem wasn't the structure. The path was clear.

The problem was loneliness.

Learning is hard. When you hit a bug that takes 4 hours to fix, an AI can give you the solution, but it can't give you the encouragement to keep going. It can’t empathize with the frustration of "Tutorial Hell."

The Pivot: AI for Logistics, Humans for Motivation This realization forced me to rethink Edulavo. We didn't need to replace teachers; we needed to give them superpowers.

We launched Mentor+.

• The AI does the heavy lifting: It scans thousands of resources to build the syllabus (saving the mentor hours of planning).

• The Human does the heavy connecting: A real expert reviews your progress, unblocks you when you are stuck, and keeps you accountable.

The Hybrid Future I am betting that the future of education isn't "AI vs. Humans." It’s AI + Humans. The AI is the GPS that shows you the fastest route. The Mentor is the co-pilot who keeps you awake at the wheel.

I’m Amir. I’ve spent the last few months building Edulavo, an AI platform that generates personalized learning roadmaps.

I wanted to share a technical struggle I faced, hoping for some feedback from other AI builders here.

The Challenge: "Hallucinated" Curriculums

When I first started with the MERN stack + LLMs, the AI would generate courses that looked good but made no sense. It would suggest learning "Advanced React Patterns" before "JavaScript Basics." It was just guessing keywords.

How I (mostly) fixed it:

Instead of one giant prompt, I broke the architecture into a pipeline:

1. The Assessor Agent: A dedicated prompt that only scores the user's chat answers (0-100 skill scale).

2. The Architect Agent: Takes that score and builds a JSON tree of modules (no content yet, just structure).

3. The Curator Agent: Only then searches our database/YouTube API to fill those modules with real content.

Separating the "Structure" from the "Content" reduced hallucinations by about 80%.

But... I need your eyes on it.

I’m still tweaking the "Curator Agent." Sometimes it pulls a video that is 5 years old. I’ve opened up a Free Plan where you can generate 2 full courses.

Could you try to generate a roadmap for a skill you already know? I want to know: Does the AI actually get the progression right, or is it still guessing?

I’m Amir. After years of managing products and teams, I’ve come to a controversial conclusion: The era of the "30-hour video course" is over.

We have all been there. You buy a massive course on Udemy or Coursera. You watch the first 20%. You get bored, or busy, or stuck on a concept that wasn't explained well. And then you quit.

The problem isn't the learner. The problem is the format. Static content cannot adapt to a dynamic learner.

Why I started building Edulavo

I wanted to build something that treats education like a GPS, not a map. A map shows you everything and lets you figure out the route. A GPS (like Waze or Google Maps) adapts in real-time based on traffic, missed turns, and your destination.

Edulavo is the GPS for learning technology.

I built Edulavo to solve the "One Size Fits All" problem. Instead of filming 1,000 hours of video content, I focused on building an AI engine that creates a unique curriculum for every single user.

How it works in practice:

• If you are a Beginner: The AI builds a foundation. It pulls resources that explain the "Why" and "How" slowly.

• If you are an Pro: The AI skips the basics. It gives you the documentation, the complex project ideas, and the edge-cases.

It adapts the pace, the content, and the projects based on a chat-based assessment.

Where we are now

We just launched our MVP.

• You can generate specialized roadmaps (Web Dev, AI, Data Science, etc.).

• We have integrated a Resource Curation engine that filters through the noise of YouTube to find high-quality, relevant clips automatically.

• We have a "Mentor+" plan for those who still need that human touch alongside AI speed.

The Big Challenge

The hardest part of building this has been fine-tuning the AI to be an "educator" rather than just a "search engine." It needs to understand pedagogy, not just keywords.
