April 22, 2021 Launched on Product Hunt

We launched on Product Hunt and ended up with around 50 upvotes, hovering around the top 20. We got a lot of really helpful feedback and learned a lot about how we can use our brand story to reach users. We learned:

  1. Most feedback is constructive, even if it is criticism or questioning your product. Some comments caused us to reflect on our brand identity.
  2. Capture as much data from users as possible. We have a lot of anecdotal information about our users but you can turn qualitative feedback into quantitative data if you capture the right data points.
  3. Don't build exactly what people ask for - build with their problem in mind. If you let your features define your product roadmap down to the feature, you will end up building a bunch of features that only appeal to one person and an unfocused product.

September 2, 2020 Built and tested the MVP

The first version of efitter was a 'Wizard of Oz' MVP which mirrored a shop front and had the chatbot built-in. We tested with 30 users and used their feedback to inform the direction of the product. The testing informed the design and dialogue of the chatbot to make it more intuitive for users.

About

Rubbish sizing is killing the planet. Sizing is frustrating and returned clothes that don't fit often end up in landfill so we are helping users get their perfect fit the first time around.
