Elm Bits
A newsletter about Elm programming language
A while ago I got really hooked by the Elm programming language and decided to start a newsletter in order to continuously learn myself and also share it with others.
Recently I stumbled upon one problem which took me an unconventional path in order to figure out. So I wrote a blog post about it which helped me also learn some new concepts too.
After sharing it on a few resources it brought some more newsletter subscribers too.
Newsletter is still a new thing to me. I have mentioned Elm Bits in a few smaller places, and I think I'd stop it there for now. I want to concentrate on the content now and figure out what the audience likes, which tools I should use (because Mailchimp is not user-friendly at all).

Few days ago I have announced a newsletter about Elm and in 3 days 50 people have signed up. I have posted info about it almost everywhere: Reddit, LinkedIn groups and my own LinkedIn profile, lobste.rs. Few more places left until I start to scratch my head as to where to find new people.

Few days ago I started a newsletter about Elm programming language - https://elmbits.com. I am learning Elm myself and wanted to share the noteworthy news, articles, and talks with the rest of the devs.
Yesterday I've received the first subscriber, and today I have just sent the first newsletter.

Congrats! That's a big step. Posting on the dedicated subreddits/forums/lobste.rs should bring you lots of new subscribers, given the fact Elm is a real niche.

I recently started learning Elm programming. It's relatively new and there aren't that many resources, blogs posts, or discussions on that topic. In order to keep a list of interesting books, discussions, and talks I decided to start a weekly newsletter about Elm.
Looking to build a small community of like-minded people and those who are interested in this technology. If you're one of those signup at https://elmbits.com

That is so awesome! Thank you for the kind words, and I didn't expect how much I would get back from the community too.

About
I am learning Elm myself. There aren't that many resources for information about it yet, so I thought I'd create a mailing list to share interesting bits I find.
