elm-courses
Course platform for the Elm language.
I finalized the design for the first plugin I will be building for the Elm in Wordpress project. Feeling pretty good about it.
I recorded a screencast of the process and posted it here:

Posted the follow up article to my launch announcement.

I have had a lot of interest already and have gotten up to double digits on my email list. Moving slowly, but that was always the expectation. :)

I want to establish my credibility as the developer to go to for information on how to use Elm in other contexts like Wordpress , Electron, etc. Today I announce my first project which is to bring Elm to Wordpress.
I want to do the whole process in the open to get feedback and keep interested peeps up to date.
All this is in the long term goal to sell courses on "How to build a Wordpress plugin with Elm" and other courses like this.

In the Elm community there is not a lot of premium education material and I want to fix that. However, I want to take my time and build an audience first and this week I took my first steps on my plan to get there.
Step One: Launch new version of popular elm tool with survey to capture email.
I maintain a popular OSS tool for Elm called elm-live (https://elm-live.com). It is a flexible dev server with live reload. I just launched the new version this week with a brand new doc site with a survey and have gotten a few subscribers from that already.
Step Two: Research Project with live updates
I wil be announcing this project soon, but I built a new version of my personal site (https://wking.io) with Newsletter signups and new project exploring how to bring Elm into the Wordpress dev community as a Frontend framework for plugin development. I plan on learning out in the open to start building my credibility as an Elm developer and my email list as more people get exposed to it through live updates along the way.

There is a severe lack of learning resources for the Elm language and I want to help fix that.
