April 10, 2022 Testing the waters

On our quest to find product-market fit, we are going to take a break from app updates and focus on adjusting the website and outreach messaging for the next couple of months.

During this time we will try some new cold email sequences, different messaging and chat with as many people as possible.

This is a space I've always been interested in. What makes Embarkable different than other products like Shipright, Canny, Productboard, etc.?

Our main focus is on automation. So automating the collection and feedback extraction from the different customer voice channels. This could be anything from your support desk to a twitter feed. From this intake stream, we extract the info needed to prioritize and create your roadmap.

Canny's focus is on a voting board that basically crowd-sources feedback with a public board, while Productboard has feedback intake, but the focus is on manual prioritization and building a roadmap.

March 20, 2022 Updated product, updated website

Based on feedback and suggestions, we have narrowed the focus of our product as well as refined our messaging. Our title h1 now focuses on what Embarkable will do for you:

Connect feedback to ideas and turn them into action, 2x faster.

Currently we are not charging to use Embarkable.io or the feedback widget, so sign-up and give it a try.

Embarkable is the perfect solution for teams that need to track feedback and prioritize their product plans. With a simple, intuitive interface, Embarkable makes it easy to collect and manage customer feedback, identify trends, and prioritize products and features.

Embarkable.io uses a kanban board similar to Trello for organization with the difference being a focus on capturing and linking feedback to actions. Embarkable.io offers an embeddable widget for feedback intake, then tools to highlight and parse important snippets of feedback that can be linked to a topic. From there the topics can be prioritized for implementation.

July 20, 2021 Landing page is up

This page only took a few days to launch!

Since we have been testing different product ideas for the last few months, we have some templates already built. Updating a previous template with new content went much faster this time.

We build our apps in React, so we also use React for the landing page. This way the app and landing page stack and workflow are both very similar. We use use Gatsby for the landing page, commit to Github, then Netlify publishes the updates.

About

Back in 2014 we started an IOT (internet-of-things) company through a Kickstarter campaign. We had enthusiastic customers with ideas, but no great way of tracking or following up with them. So we built Embarkable.io
