We decided to launch the ecosystem of Acitvators.Dev, which includes EmboldenIt, Book Billionaire, Finisher, Great Quotes, Calorie, PrivaKeeper and BlockResume.

All used Blockstack SDK to achieve privacy-respecting apps to our customers.

We launched on Product Hunt at 12:01 am PST (all you know this is the time Product Hunt reset its daily trending list).

In a few hours, we got #4 product of the day.

We want to share some tips about launching:

• We wrote article to sharing about our work and the product on Medium: https://medium.com/the-product-manger-studio/how-we-build-a-highlight-taking-dapp-and-you-can-too-59b371907d78
• We told our friends about the product and invite them to try it.
• We share content over social networks like FB and LinkedIn

Here are the list of features we want to include in the first version:

• Free to use
• Encrypt user data
• Highlight text on any web page
• Dashboard to manage your content
• Share your list to your friend
• Plugin for Chrome, Firefox and Safari
• Get a list of random highlights from other users (if they allow to share).

We realize that some features are unneccessary like getting random highlights. This reduction save us more time to finish the MVP.

I and my friend often read articles on Medium and use the highlight feature on it for later access.
We think we should make a highlight app for saving inspired words over the Internet.

We accidentally found Blockstack - a decentralized computing network and app ecosystem. It provides a clean approach to make real decentralized app.

So we decided to make a decentralized highlight app.
