Emeal Me

Roughly two weeks after starting work on the MVP it is ready for public Beta. Emeal.me is now ready to help restaurants capture email addresses and build their mailing list faster than ever before through incentivized in-store offers. Restaurants are really hurting right now due to COVID-19 so I'm offering this service for free and taking no revenue for 3 months to help the industry rebuild.

After getting 15K tweet views and 500 website visits I decided it was time to start building the MVP product and back-end. There are several parties interested in getting early access and being that it's a fairly simple lift to get the app up and running it felt like the idea had enough legs to validate the effort!

E-commerce sites have long known the value of capturing an email and incentivizing a purchase with a 10% discount. There needs to be a similar solution for restaurants and bars.

During this COVID-19 climate restaurants and bars have been forced to shut down. The ones that have strong email lists have been able to ask their networks to purchase gift cards to support them during these hard times. Email has proven a much better vehicle than social media.

I want every restaurant and bar to be able to easily capture emails and drive in customers once this epidemic is over.
