May 28, 2020 Empoche 0.4.0

This was a big milestone for Empoche, bringing a complete new design, custom widgets and tons other UI changes.

Design and Usability is more important than you think. And finding a clear style for your product. Especially on how to communicate features and make your app easy to use.

January 17, 2020 Public Beta

Released the first unpolished Beta Version of Empoche with support for Linux, macOS and Windows.

Thanks to snapcraft, an Appstore for Linux, I got my first external testers really fast. https://snapcraft.io/empoche

It already was available in three languages (thanks friends), English, French, German.

November 20, 2019 Came up with Empoche

Looked at hundreds of productivity apps, read tons of books, but didn't find what I was looking for. During this process the idea of Empoche raised. An app to combine automatic time-tracking of PC applications used, time evaluation and task management.

Questions Empoche tries to answer:
How do you spent time on your PC? Which PC applications are you using? Where do you get distracted? Which tasks and projects do take most time? Where could you improve? Why is it already 2am again and what did I accomplish today?

About

As someone who is quite easy to distract, I was looking for a way to motivate myself and learn where I lose my time. There are tons of task management and time tracking apps out there, but none that combine both.
