Serverless hosting for Observable
I wrote some tutorials on how to use the product and they got some good traction on Twitter. Several people have now executed code on my platform, and I have a few famous followers.
One tweet was how to build an API in 30 seconds in a browser
the other was how to make a Twitter bot
I have helped others and built up a good reputation on observablehq.com. It helps my social media impact making friends and also its just a great tool to use.
In recognition of my passion for their platform, I was accepted into the first batch of Observable Ambassadors

I hope this will amplify my voice and maybe give me additional channels for marketing.

I AM FREE!!!
I spent my first week helping my wife delivery STEM books around Berlin, which was actually quite good for revenue. I used the Observable Stripe library to process money from locals who do not trust Amazon. I was able to setup a simple payment gateway in about 15 minutes. A good example of how I think software agility is a huge force multiplier.

I was #2 and #8 on the top 10 most viewed notebooks of 2020. For my SaaS tutorial and for an earlier Hackernews post that went viral (most favorited hackernews posts of all time) )https://observablehq.com/collection/@observablehq/2020-most-viewed-notebooks.
This gave me social credit in the Observable community and made me think I could actually build useful things.

I got my first donation through my Stripe integration tutorial! I figured, if developers were reading the stripe tutorial they would like to know it works. What better than testing the tubes by 'buying me a coffee' win-win!
I noted that many people go to the checkout and don't follow through, but some do! Wow. First internet money made by myself :)

I was off sick from work for 3 weeks. I used the time to explore Observablehq.com more. I fell in love. I realized it was an amazing platform for general purpose coding, not just #dataviz. However, everything is in public. This makes it difficult to do secure things, but because of my Cloud experience, I knew there was a way.
I wrote an extensive tutorial on how to write SaaS (https://observablehq.com/@tomlarkworthy/saas-tutorial), and integrated stripe. It went nuclear!
