August 22, 2025 Building Enerlytics: the global ROI engine for renewables

🚀 I’m building Enerlytics — the ROI engine for renewables

Figuring out if solar, wind, or batteries make financial sense sucks right now.

  • Free calculators? Shallow, biased, often just sales funnels.

  • Consultants? Charge $1k+ and take weeks to deliver a static PDF.

  • DIY? Endless spreadsheets and guesswork.

Meanwhile, people are making $10k–$10m investment decisions with zero clarity.

That’s insane.

Enerlytics = instant, unbiased feasibility reports for renewables.

  • Input your address + energy data → get a decision-grade ROI analysis in 2 minutes.

  • Powered by NASA + PVGIS + real tariffs.

  • Works globally, not just in one country.

  • Free trial for 2 analyses → then $12/report or $29/mo Pro.

Why I’m building it

Not VC-backed. No big team. Just me, scratching my own itch.
I hated how confusing, slow, and biased renewable project analysis is.

So I’m building the tool I wish existed:
Fast. Transparent. Affordable.

Ask to the community

  • Would you pay for instant, professional-grade ROI reports?

  • Who do you think benefits most: homeowners, SMEs, or consultants?

  • Any advice on early distribution channels?

🌍 If renewables are the future, Enerlytics is the map + compass that shows when, where, and why to invest.

Strong pitch and the pain is real. I would pay at that price if reports are transparent on assumptions and include a quick sensitivity view with a few tweakable inputs. How will you keep tariffs and incentives current across countries and show confidence when data is noisy?

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback — you nailed the two most important trust points in this space: transparency of assumptions and keeping incentives/tariffs current.

      Here’s how we’re tackling it:

      • Transparent reports: every analysis report shows exactly which data sources (NASA, PVGIS, OpenWeather, gov. portals, etc.) were used, with assumptions clearly documented. We’re adding a sensitivity view where users can tweak 2–3 key inputs (tariff rates, system cost, incentives) and instantly see the ROI shift.

      • Tariff & incentive updates: we maintain an internal database that pulls from APIs and government data sources. Where APIs aren’t available, we crowdsource verified updates through a partner/installer network. Each dataset is time-stamped so users know how fresh the numbers are.

      • Confidence scores: when data is noisy or incomplete, the platform doesn’t hide it — we display a confidence percentage and offer fallback ranges, so users know the reliability of the result.

Basically: no “black box.” The goal is a professional-grade tool where users trust the outputs because they can see the assumptions and stress-test them.

Love the transparency and confidence scoring! I would also add a small data freshness badge per country plus a one click “what changed since last run” diff so pros trust updates at a glance.

btw we could partner up. Me and my team are building HustleAdvisor, a social network where entrepreneurs share practical step by step lessons. If you join the waitlist and later post a short write up about building Enerlytics, we will boost it in the main feed so more people see it :)

We get: an experienced entrepreneur on board

About

I’m building Enerlytics because the renewable energy industry is broken at the decision-making layer.
