July 23, 2026 I stopped trying to build another productivity app.

For months, I thought I was building a productivity tool.

Eventually I realized I was actually trying to solve a different problem.

Every day we switch between browsers, documents, chats, terminals, meetings, AI assistants, and dozens of tabs.

When we return to a task, something subtle happens:

We don't just lose time.

We lose context.

Most productivity tools measure what you did:

  • Time tracking

  • Website blocking

  • Pomodoro timers

  • Task lists

Those are useful.

But I kept asking myself a different question:

Where did the thread of my work go?

That question became the foundation of Enfoca T.

Instead of trying to force people to focus, the goal is to help them recover the context they lost after interruptions.

The app observes your digital activity (locally), builds a timeline of what happened, and lets you reconstruct the path back to your work.

One thing I learned while building this is that attention isn't binary.

You are rarely just "focused" or "distracted."

You're constantly moving through contexts.

Sometimes the most expensive interruption isn't opening YouTube.

It's spending ten minutes trying to remember why you opened VS Code in the first place.

I'm still early in the journey, but building this has completely changed how I think about productivity software.

I'm curious:

Have you ever lost more time trying to remember what you were doing than actually doing the task itself?

I'd love to hear how other founders think about this problem.

ENFOCA T exists because attention deserves memory, too. Our digital work is full of interruptions and context switching. When that happens, we don't just lose time; we also lose the thread of what we were doing. ENFOCA
