Esseeoh
Ship Execute Outperform
I got 21 organic visitors on day 1 of launching my waitlist. Here's everything I did.
I'm not a developer. I'm a 25-year-old from Bangalore who got tired of watching her YouTube Shorts get 1 view after using every automation tool on the market.
So I built the tool I wished existed. Here's the full story.
The problem
I tested EasySlice, OpusClip, and Vidyo. All of them do the same thing — clip your video, post it, done. My Shorts sat at 1 view for weeks.
The reason took me embarrassingly long to figure out. YouTube's Shorts algorithm decides who to show your content to before most people watch it — based almost entirely on your title, hashtags, and description. Every automation tool skips this entirely. They post with a generic title and zero metadata. YouTube guesses who the audience is, guesses wrong, and buries the Short permanently within 48 hours.
I couldn't find a single tool that automated the SEO layer. So I built one.
What I built
Esseeoh (esseeoh.com) — an AI YouTube Shorts automation tool that clips your long videos, writes a keyword SEO title, niche hashtags, and description using Claude AI, then posts automatically. It also has a 3-day rule — if your channel goes 3 days without an upload, it repurposes your best older video into a fresh SEO-optimised Short so your channel never goes silent.
The positioning: "Other tools post Shorts. Esseeoh makes Shorts that perform."
The stack
Lovable · Supabase · n8n · OpusClip API · Claude API · Stripe · Namecheap
100% no-code. Built in 2 weeks of evenings. Total cost so far: $10 for the domain.
Where I am
The backend doesn't exist yet. I'm in pure demand validation mode — collecting waitlist signups before writing a single line of backend code. My threshold is 100 signups. If 100 people who care about YouTube growth give me their email, I build. If not, I rethink the positioning before investing months of build time.
After 20 hours of esseeoh.com being live with zero marketing, zero social posts, zero sharing with anyone:
21 organic visitors. 1 cold signup. Visitors from India, US, and Belgium. Average session duration: 2h 46m.
The 2h 46m from cold strangers who found it through Google is the number I keep coming back to. The problem resonates.
The distribution strategy
Any developer can replicate this technically in a weekend. The moat I'm building isn't the product — it's distribution. The waitlist, the SEO foundation, the creator community presence. By the time someone copies the product, Esseeoh has 6 months of Google trust, thousands of creator emails, and real channels already running on the platform.
That's the real answer to "what should I build" in the AI era. Don't ask what to build. Ask where your users will come from when someone builds the same thing tomorrow.
Will post updates as I hit milestones. If you're a YouTube creator frustrated with Shorts getting zero views — esseeoh.com. 30 days free for early access.
About
I want to build something that helps the creator community grow and help myself grow with it.
