Over the past few months, we’ve been building ETRYON — an AI virtual try-on plugin for Shopify and WooCommerce fashion stores.

The original idea came from noticing how many shoppers still hesitate on clothing product pages because they can’t really visualize how the clothes will look on themselves before purchasing.

Most existing solutions felt:

  • too complicated

  • too expensive

  • or disconnected from the storefront experience

So we wanted to build something simpler and more native to the shopping flow.

With ETRYON, shoppers can:
• upload their own photo
• instantly preview outfits on themselves
• try clothes on directly inside product pages

We’ve been focusing heavily on:

  • smooth mobile UX

  • lightweight integration

  • customizable storefront styling

  • selective try-on products

  • reducing friction during setup

We’re still early and improving the product every week based on feedback from merchants and early users.

    The useful angle here is not just virtual try-on.

    It is reducing the hesitation moment on fashion product pages: “Will this actually look good on me?”

    That is the buyer pain store owners understand.

    I’d be careful not to position ETRYON as only a cool AI feature. The sharper test is whether merchants see it as a conversion lift tool for products where fit, style, and visual confidence block purchases.

    That is probably the wedge worth testing first.
