I'm the founder of Eventbit, and I wanted to share why we started building it and what we've learned along the way.

The idea didn't come from chasing the next AI trend. It came from watching photographers struggle with the same problems after every event.
A wedding photographer might capture 3,000–10,000 photos in a single day. Once the event is over, the real work begins:
Uploading thousands of images
Organizing galleries
Answering messages like "Can you send me my photos?"
Finding specific people across thousands of images
Managing clients, invoices, and storage using multiple tools
The photography itself takes one day. Managing everything afterward can take days or even weeks.
We kept asking ourselves:
Why is this workflow still so manual in 2026?
So we started building Eventbit.
Our goal is simple: give photographers one platform that handles the work after the shoot.
With Eventbit, photographers can:

🤖 Automatically recognize faces so guests can instantly find every photo of themselves instead of scrolling through thousands of images.

💼 Manage clients, contracts, invoices, and events from one place instead of switching between multiple apps.
We're building Eventbit with a focus on speed and scalability because event photography is different from traditional photo sharing. Every wedding or corporate event can generate thousands of high-resolution images, and photographers expect uploads, AI indexing, and gallery delivery to feel effortless.
We're still early, and we're continuously talking to photographers to understand what slows them down the most. Every feature we build starts with a real workflow problem rather than adding technology for its own sake.
Our mission is simple:
Help photographers spend less time managing photos and more time creating memories.

The switching question is the one I’d be most curious about.
You’re not only asking photographers whether these problems exist — you’re asking what would make them leave workflows they already rely on. Those are very different signals.
I like that you framed the problem around everything that happens after the shoot rather than AI itself. Photographers already have established workflows, so replacing the admin work feels like a much stronger value proposition than adding another gallery tool.
I’m curious what part of a photographer’s existing workflow has been the hardest to replace so far? In my experience, getting people to switch usually comes down to fitting into habits they’ve already built rather than adding more features.
