Gentle reminders to stay in touch with the people who matter

Life gets busy — new jobs, new routines — and every time, the same thing happens.

People I genuinely liked, colleagues I worked closely with, friends I spent time

with — the contact just slowly fades. Not because anything went wrong. Just because

we're no longer in each other's day-to-day life.

I knew I should reach out. I just never did. I'm not great at setting reminders for

myself, and even when I did, a generic calendar alert saying "call Ahmed" felt too

cold and easy to dismiss. It never actually got me to pick up the phone.

What made it click for me was noticing the reaction when I did reach out. Almost

every time, the other person would say something like "I'm so glad you messaged — I

was thinking about you." Both people wanted to stay in touch. Neither one did

anything about it. That felt like a problem worth fixing.

Existing apps were either full contact CRMs (too heavy) or generic reminder tools

(too dumb). I wanted something in between — something that knew who you were

reaching out to, how often you wanted to, what category they fell into, and what

you last talked about. Purposeful, not just a ping.

One thing I was firm about from the start: your data stays on your device. No

accounts, no cloud sync, no servers. The people in your life are private — Ever

Close keeps it that way.

So I built Ever Close.
PS: The app is still is in its intial phase and i am looking for some feedback on the app.
