July 20, 2026 Building the travel organizer I want to use

Hi Indie Hackers! I’m building Everway, a travel itinerary organizer that keeps your bookings, documents, maps, and important trip details in one place.

I started building it because apps like TripIt and Wanderlog never quite worked the way I needed. They often felt bloated, difficult to scan, or more focused on planning than managing an actual trip. I wanted to quickly find my next booking, pull up a voucher at check-in, share the right details with the people traveling with me, and track things like hotel cancellation deadlines so I could change plans without losing money.

Everway began as a tool for my own trips, but I soon discovered that many of my friends had the same frustrations. So I decided to turn it into something others could use too.

You can forward confirmation emails and documents to Everway, and it organizes everything into a clear, day-by-day itinerary. I’d love for fellow Indie Hackers to try it and tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing.

I’m giving the first 100 users free Pro access as a thank-you for helping shape the product. Try it at everway.ai and send me your honest feedback.

Building from your own travel habits gives you a good starting point.

I'd be interested to see which part of the experience users mention first after a trip. That often tells a different story than the one we expect while building.

Yep, have a few upcoming trips from users so will ask and report back

        Makes sense.

Those post-trip conversations will probably reveal the real value users attach to the product versus what seems obvious during building.

About

I built Everway because existing trip organiser apps felt bloated and made bookings, documents, deadlines, and shared plans hard to manage. I built it for myself, then found my friends had the same problem.
