Everything classic cars related: browse, compare and share!
Now that I have spent so many months on procrastinating on my project, I've had so many chances to develop and test my design. This led me to redesign the entire website taking into account all my assumptions, thinkings, feedbacks from users...
The new experience is definitely not a final one, but it's much better than the previous.
First goal was to help visitor to jump directly into the experience: achieved!
Day after day, posting around on reddit and twitter, I've welcomed users from all over the globe. Most of them do have a classic car build they are working on. Still not that easy to create dynamism on this community, but it's growing slowly.
These first members are helping me with great feedbacks!
I think I will offer the 50 first user a lifetime Basic plan for free: they deserve it!

So basically everycars is Free from now, I've thought about several way to monetize it, but it will come later on (https://diary.everycars.co/everycarsco-a-tool-to-help-you-select-your-next-classic-car-project-cjyvajs9t0009trs19dn9iifg)
And I'm really happy as I'm beginning to work with a small number of users that are giving me some crazy valuable inputs in order to ameliorate the user experience on this website...

For this I've had to develop so many small functions like: password, authentication, forgot password...

As a first celebration for me, I've bought a domain name and began to develop a small coded MVP on https://everycars.co in order to test some first round of data for my next project which will definitely be linked with Classic Cars: even if I don't even have any driving licence...

Because I wanted to simply discover something different than the "boring" and "old" and "not-code" languages I was using by that time: html, css, php, mysql....
That's why I've been following a couple of tutorials on how to handle ReactJS. And it happened to be quite good by the way, but I finally didn't followed that way: I went back to what I was already knowing and began to work on my next side project.

By that time, even if I was truly addicted to twitter, I came with this idea of discovering instagram :

And so I've written this story in the link below where you will find out more on How Instagram helped me find my side project idea.

I’m exploring the world of collection cars because I have the sensation that this area is not as digitized as it should be : most of the UX on these websites have not been updated since 1990...
