Faable Cloud

This is the past story of how a failed idea changed the way I see my work and my world. Faable is the name where I’ve put all my outside office working hours for the last 10 years, what’s the outcome you ask?….. just knowledge and tears.

It all started on my last years at university, I always wanted to learn what means to develop for a real client with real business needs. My thoughts were, Marc you have to just come up with a domain name, put a landing page on and $ will come in paper-wrapped piles. That was just the intro of my solo consultancy “business”, back in 2013.

Well, I was trying to make value out of nowhere. No business, no company values and for sure no product or ideas at all. The only thing in my backpack was a few years developing code in my apartment.

I mean, it’s better to have a brand name rather than going to pitch prospective clients only with my github profile. Isn’t it?

Having a “business", what a joke!

That was my way to say “hey dude I’m not earning any $ but I know a lot of JS". Deep knowledge on a topic is something to rely on. Yes! And that doesn't make any value for others it only adds value to yourself, nothing else.

But it's a starting point.
