Facebook Ads Targeting 101

I mean past few months have been really busy with my agency business & this project got meagre sales which could be a lot more If I had actually focused on it.

The next step is to revise the course a bit base on feedback & add new changes in the content. Let's hope 2021 is great for this side project.

I was able to touch the 200$ mark yesterday by a connection on twitter who had issues with his ad campaigns reaching out to me. I helped him understand the importance of creating the right targeting strategy when it comes to Facebook ads & also mentioned about the course. Gave him a 20% off in case he wants to buy.

He ended up buying the course & we are here. For now, distribution channel & building audience is still a challenge.

Its been close to a month & I touch my first 10 customers through organically reaching out among friends & internet strangers. Ten people trusted to buy my course & give me some confidence there.

The challenges I am facing currently is identifying the right channel wherein I can start getting some consistent sales & collecting feedback to make the course much better. Cheers!

Launched this course 10 days back & I touched 100$ in sales today. Not a big number but gives validation for a niche demand.

How?
Got in a total of 7 customers who purchased this course. The sources which worked for me were Indiehackers (2 sales), Personal Network (3 sales), Hacker news (1) & one Unknown.

This month goals are to figure out the distribution channel which can be consistent & get initial feedback for the course.

Have been working on this course since two months but was not able to create any content as writing was looking tough to me initially.

Hence, two weeks back, I zeroed down on this topic & started working on a video-based webinar which can be insightful & gives practical case studies on how to crack Facebook targeting.

Launched it on 19th May & just some hours later, I got the first paid customer through Indiehackers :D
