Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I just launched FancyText — a free Unicode font

generator for Instagram bios, WhatsApp names

and game usernames.

Here's my honest 3 day journey:

Day 1 — Building

Built the entire tool with React + Tailwind CSS.

50+ Unicode font styles, one-click copy,

mobile friendly. No backend needed —

100% client side.

Day 2 — Launching

Deployed on Vercel, bought custom domain

fancytext.in on Hostinger, connected to

Google Search Console, submitted sitemap.

Day 3 — Monetizing

Applied to Adsterra and Monetag ad networks.

Both approved same day!

First earnings: $0.006 🎉

Current Stats:

→ 91 ad impressions

→ $0.006 earned

→ Google indexing started

→ 0 organic traffic yet

Challenges I faced:

→ Reddit keeps removing my posts (karma issue)

→ Ezoic rejected — needs 250K users/month

→ HackerNews Show HN temporarily restricted

→ Most traffic platforms need reputation first

Goals:

→ 1,000 visits/month by Month 1

→ 10,000 visits/month by Month 3

→ Apply for AdSense at Month 6

→ $500/month by end of Year 1

What I need help with:

→ How to get first 1000 visitors?

→ Best SEO strategies for tools sites?

→ Any ad networks better than Monetag/Adsterra?
