Ditch poor bug reports, build better products
Hey Hackers! 😍
I took some time to explain exactly what we think about bug reporting as it's done today. What is wrong, why it's wrong and what solution we bring to you: Deep Bug Reporting.
This is our Manifesto, you can read it here : fantestic.app/blog/manifesto.
Hey Hackers! 😍
This time, I decided to start marketing efforts early. So I completed and launched the landing page (fantestic.app) to allow visitors to join the waiting list! 😎
We'll be looking very soon for great teams to beta-test our product. If you're interested in being first in line to test it, join the waiting list and reach out to @tryfantestic on Twitter! I'll do my best to bring you in early ❤️

Hey Hackers! 😍
Originally, I'm a software engineer. With my co-founder, Quentin, also a developer, we're always surprised by the poor quality of the bug reports we receive. Very few details or bad information, steps to follow to reproduce the bug too approximate, bug impossible to reproduce, endless back-and-forth to get additional details... Sound familiar? Of course yes...
We're convinced that bug reporting is in need of fixing and that standard bug reports are deprecated! 🤓
Writing good quality bug reports is very tedious, time consuming and therefore often experienced as a punishment. In the end, neither the developers nor the bug reporters are happy with the situation.
So we set out to fix that and help product teams fix bugs faster and create better user experiences. We started working on this idea a little over 2 years ago as a side project but we finally put it aside for lack of time. Today, we're going back to it full time! 🤩
