Fart You App

The initial release of the app looked like blocks and was not a responsive GUI. I transitioned to a 2 layer frame layout with more buttons on the app. I also redid the top menu bar and bottom add bar.

I learned how to take a layered approach with Android apps with HTML.

Next I also created a post for the update to try and get more downloads. I plan to continue to market the update on free sites to see if I can get any traffic to it.

I gave the post a slight rename to see if I can get any Google traffic to the app from normal searches. I used Google trends to lookup the search term "practical joke app"

Published the app on the Google Play Store. I learned about that process, adding languages and tracking downloads and views with ads.

I made mistakes testing with the beta program of my app. I learned for my apps it's not important to have a beta. That just adds more download / install links that eventually don't work. If I create multiple updates to my app they take a while to update on the Play store.

I need to triple check my spelling on the Play store listing before posting.

After posting I got recommendations from the Play Console to shrink my app and various other improvements. I now know to do them ahead of time.
