💩First attempt to get away from my crappy icon

I reached out to an designer on Fiverr with the first idea that comes in my head.
And here is the result:
The idea behind the icon:
- I wanted to maintain the green color because the UI of my App is green and it should match
- It should be flat / Material Design und very clear and simple

- The person on the icon hold an apple because i think an apple is a good symbol for health, fitness and weight loss
Why two icons with a male and a woman?
If we look at my users, we can see that 75% are female. My assumption is that the respective genders are more likely to feel addressed when their own gender is shown on the icon. Is my assumption correct? I will test it!
Whats next?
I will do an A/B test and see if this icon performs better. I will share my results with you! I will also create other designs and have a graphic designer create them to find the best icon for my app.

A big improvement!
I would check how your icon looks in smaller sizes. There is a lot of detail in the figures. It becomes hard to discern details when the icon is small.

Hi Oliver,
I think the concept is there, much better. It conveys weight loss, but it does not sell to me, it doesn't say click me. It feels like an icon from the 90’s. The selection of colours for me is still pale. Although I have to keep saying the same as before, there is too much going on. Remember the size of the icon is much smaller than you show in your example. There is too much detail. The apple is insignificant. Be consistent with the padding also at the bottom.
Get some inspiration in cool bathroom icons. They don’t have so much detail, they are easy on the eyes and easy to understand.
But to conclude, simplify simplify simplify.

Get some inspiration here. I think playing around with these ideas and trying to find a combination between the two can help you find the perfect icon.
Cleaner weight loss icon (I don't particularly like this icon, but it has a much simpler styling), it's cleaner.
