💸 Fastdok was running on a recurring monthly cost of 11$/month making the app's lifetime total cost of server, hosting, and domain around 400$
@acquiredotcom made the process pretty easy. Received a few offers, ended up choosing the best offer that fits, received an LOI (Letter Of Intent), passed the due diligence, and then signed an APA (App Purchase Agreement). Then did the transfer and here we are.

Getting to this point after less than 6 weeks of our launch is just an amazing way to start 2021 and to continue improving and growing Fastdok
After months of hard work, long nights, and a lot of tea & coffee, today we did launch Fastdok officially on ProductHunt, and guess what, we got the good news :) We've been featured as the 4th product of the day by the community with hundreds of upvotes.
After collecting feedback from beta testers and analyzing them, we decided to provide too many changes, mainly we moved from credit-based pricing to subscription revenue model, we did some UI/UX changes and fixed a lot of bugs as received from our valuable beta testers. And now we have an optimized and improved product!
By focusing on some of my pain and those of the people in my circle, I get some signals about a few problems that are worth solving.
One of these problems was the time I used to spend to find a good template to create a cover letter or a business plan, and as it was a common pain for many people I know, then it was the starting point to develop the Fastdok idea!
