Faturly

Professional invoicing for Portuguese and Brazilian freelanc

June 28, 2026 I built an invoicing tool for PT/BR freelancers because every alternative was ugly and in English

I’ve been frustrated for years with invoicing tools. Every option I tried was built for the US market — no NIF, no CNPJ, wrong tax calculations, and PDFs that looked embarrassing to send to clients.

So I started building Faturly.

It’s pre-launch right now — just a landing page collecting emails while I validate the idea before writing a single line of app code.

What it will do:

→ NIF and CNPJ native support

→ €/R$ currencies

→ IVA and ISS automatic calculation

→ Clean PDF design with no watermarks

→ Dashboard to track paid and pending invoices

Would love feedback from anyone who’s dealt with this problem — what’s your biggest invoicing pain point as a freelancer?

Alexandre, I ran the Faturly landing page through PagePulse because a pre-launch waitlist page has one job: make the pain obvious enough that the right freelancers leave an email.

    A few things stood out:

    - Add reassurance microcopy below the 'Começar grátis' button: 'Sem cartão de crédito. Cancela quando quiseres.' — zero development effort, immediate anxiety reduction

    - Add a single social proof line in the hero above or below the headline: '+3.000 freelancers já confiam em nós' — one line of copy that bridges trust level 1→2

    - Increase the CTA button size and switch to a high-contrast brand color (e.g., blue or green) so it reads as the primary action at a glance on mobile

My main read: the PT/BR specificity is a strong wedge. I'd make the "built for NIF/CNPJ, IVA/ISS, clean PDFs" promise show up earlier and reduce anything that sounds like a generic invoicing tool.

Hope useful — ping me once you've made changes and I'll re-run it

I like that you're validating before building. Also, "built for freelancers in PT/BR" is much stronger positioning than trying to compete with every invoicing tool. Regional workflows are usually where the biggest frustrations—and the best opportunities—live.

Thanks Aryan! That’s exactly the insight that drove the idea — every tool I tried was built for the US market and completely ignored how invoicing works in Portugal and Brazil. NIF, CNPJ, IVA, ISS — none of them got it right. Appreciate the validation, means a lot coming from someone in the IH community!

That's exactly the implication I was thinking about.

I think there's one strategic business decision sitting underneath your reply that becomes much more significant as the company grows, but I don't think I can do the reasoning behind it justice in a thread.

Happy to explain what I mean if it's useful. What's the best email to reach you on?

About

Every invoicing tool I tried was built for the US market — wrong tax system, wrong currency, terrible design. I got tired of sending ugly PDFs to clients, so I built the alternative I always wanted.
