E-learning platform that helps creators sell audio courses

February 28, 2020 Feedcast pivot to Audio Courses

After a few months interviewing customers and podcasters, we realized that a lot of podcasters want to sell courses, but didn't know how to do it or what's the right format. Why would you sell video courses designed to be consumed on desktop, while your audience is already consuming your content in the cellphone through audio?

Besides a big portion of our customers uses podcasts to educate themselves during their commutes and while doing chores. So why not fill up this gap between both sides?

It was a tough decision to let go of our early customers and we are very grateful for them to follow up to this point. Now we are committed to this new journey.

We want to provide a mobile-first experience for busy people to learn on the go while providing a revenue source for content creators by allowing them to sell courses in the audio format, similar to podcasts.

August 9, 2019 Launched MVP

Launched on app store!

It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Feedcast. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Ruby on Rails since that's that I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!
