FestiGram

I built FestiGram in JavaScript. It is a Single Page App on the client side, developed with Mithril as MV* framework and a Loopback v3 RESTful API on the server side, with a MySQL database.

The app is deployed on Heroku.

I learned a lot along the way. The first version was written in php in 2013. It actually was great when it worked, but poor design decisions made it dificult to improve, and because it was rendered on the server it only worked with a network connections, which are unreliable at music festivals.

So after starting and scrapping several verisons over 8 years, I finally built a working browser version that is ready to convert to a PWA and run without a server, while still running in a browser.
