FFHub
Cloud FFmpeg API for video and audio workflows
I'm building FFHub, a hosted service for running FFmpeg commands through an API, CLI, and n8n community node.
The n8n integration is for workflows that need video compression, audio extraction, or thumbnails without maintaining a separate FFmpeg worker. Create a job, wait for it to finish, check the status, and pass the output URL to the next step.
The community node is @ffhub/n8n-nodes-ffhub. It supports Create, Get, List, and Wait operations. Source: https://github.com/ffhub-io/n8n-nodes-ffhub
FFHub requires an account and API key. Trial credits are available; paid usage uses credit packs charged by execution time.
If you're building media automation, which part takes the most effort today: preparing commands, managing workers, or handling jobs and outputs?
About
FFHub lets developers run familiar FFmpeg commands without managing media workers. Submit cloud jobs through a REST API, CLI or n8n node, track their status, and use the output URLs in your app or workflow.
