July 16, 2021 My first review :-)

Yes yes yes, I got my first review today. I hope it is positive!

Joking, yes, I know the person that sent in the review. I was able to help him reduce the impact of the bruxism. So I was confident he would give me the 5* ;-)

I seems my initial question "is an online solution possible for this medical problem?" is answered now. YES there is an online solution possible!

January 6, 2021 Set up the English website

As I said before, my native language is Dutch. But I see things big and international :-)
As such I came up with my own name, and decided to register the domain name, www.spineo.org and fill it with relevant text.
This should help me in a later stage, when I launch the start-up.

November 29, 2020 Set up the Dutch website

First things first. It is so much easier (and in my comfort zone ...) to try out my idea in Dutch.
I set up https://kaakpunt.be/ "Wij behandelen jouw kaakpijn - We treat your jaw pain" as a starting point for my idea. Not much content yet, but it's a work in progress :-)

May 5, 2020 Media attention

I got media attention in a local newspaper. I am super delighted to be featured in an in dept interview about a topic I'm passionate about :-)

It now appears that, yes, there are a lot of people with bruxism, and I can help some of them. Let me continue with the other questions...

March 29, 2020 Came up with the idea

During the pandemic, I got a lot of questions of people with stress and jaw pain caused by teeth grinding. And I said: let's see if I can help these people with an online approach!

There are several things I need to check first:
0/ is there a market?
1/ is an online solution possible for this medical problem?
2/ can I manage this myself?
3/ my mother tongue is Dutch. Can I reach an international (English) audience?

To be continued :-)

About

I’m a physical therapist specialised in treating jaw pain (TMD, TMJ). During the covid pandemic, I realised I could help people with bruxism (teeth grinding), from a distance.
