Automated job offer and recruiter spam handling
I think the form is just way too long. I'll reduce the form and make a bunch of the stuff optional/configurable by the developer.
I got feedback from a developer who said they wouldn't use this with some of the questions that are asked.
I also found a twitter comment that discussed getting recruiter feedback manually. That only had three data points that they ask recruiters for. That got some likes so I think if i reduce the form length it might be more useful.
I posted my marketing site and the MVP to social media. I don't have many followers on social media in general because I try not to use it too much but I'm hoping it resonates with LinkedIn users. If any recruiters see it i should get some feedback good or bad.
Next step is just to monitor twitter and that kind of thing for engineers who are a little frustrated with recruiter spam.

I went backwards! I moved from webflow to a custom site. I know this is a common trap but I found I was spending time learning webflow when I already know how to build straightforward react sites.
The custom site allowed me to add some simple animations and I added a meta image and tags so it looks better when shared now.

MVP created. Added it to https://filteredreduced.dev. Will start spamming recruiters back :D
I'll happily keep this as a simple personal tool . I learned a lot about setting up a site. It's straightforward but there is lots of stuff to do also. I feel more confident acting on something more commercial now.
I always used to get lost in setup so it's a significant milestone for me to get ANYTHING out in to the world!

Was chatting with a colleague about how it would be nice to get more data from recruiters without spending too much of my time.
We both get unsolicited job offers on linkedin even though our "open to offers" is set to false.
So i thought something with filters would
- turn off most recruiters
- provide a very low commitment response to these messages

Just a fun tool to help respond to things like linked in requests or to help remember to ask the right questions at job interviews you're doing
