Finder

10 days after our launch on PH, we reached 1,000 new signups and $200 MRR. We are very confident that this side project might turn into our main project soon. We are constantly updating and improving Finder and we are developing a few upcoming features like: Email titles, Copy to clipboard, Our own email verifier and the possibility of sending cold emails directly from our website.

We launched Finder on Product Hunt and got to the front page! Overall it resulted in 1,500 pageviews, almost 400 new signups and #5 Product of the Day with 370+ upvotes. We also got 3 new subscribers and it really was a great motivation for us. The community gave us excellent reviews and we can't thank them enough.

7 months after we came up with the idea, we started to see results and the wait was pretty much worth it.

We figured having a chrome extension would be the best way to engage our upcoming customers from PH. So we designed it very similar to our website because we take branding very serious and we love Finder's design tbh.

When finished, we asked our friends to test it for a couple of days to make sure it works fine on launch day!

During these 3 months we managed to create an algorithm constantly looking for emails of any domain possible. We knew we needed time to get to a decent amount of emails in order to satisfy all of our future customers that we were expecting to have. So we waited 3 months, we let the algorithm collect as much emails as he could for our launching.

Once the idea was clear, we knew that it was time to design the website. We have a lot of experience and I believe pretty much good taste when it comes to colors and design structure. It took a month to finish the design and it was for sure the most enjoyable task of the whole project.

After making many side projects with my brother, we realized that emails are not going anywhere and will continue to be one of the most effective ways to communicate on the web. So why not create a tool that finds emails of every domain in terms of seconds? and that's how Finder was born!
