Fit. AI Virtual Try On
Try it on before you buy
fit. is a virtual try-on app for people shopping Indian fashion online.
You paste a Myntra or AJIO link, it shows the outfit on your own photo,
and an AI stylist called Aira gives you an honest read on whether it
works. Free on Android and iOS.
Over July and August I built out the site: 12 hand-written pages plus 40
programmatic ones covering try-on guides by outfit and occasion. Sitemap
submitted, everything validated.
Two months in, Google has indexed 0 of 52 pages.
I went through the whole technical checklist expecting to find a bug.
robots.txt allows Googlebot. Canonicals are self-referencing. Meta robots
says index, follow. All 52 URLs return 200. No manual actions, no security
issues. The live URL test in Search Console renders the homepage fine and
says "Page can be indexed".
Nothing was broken. Google just decided not to.
The actual reasons, as best I can tell:
- Zero referring domains. The Links report in Search Console is empty.
- My root domain was still a parked registrar page, which is a weak trust
signal for the subdomain hanging off it. - The site is two months old.
47 of the 52 pages sit in "Discovered, currently not indexed". Google
found the URLs in my sitemap and did not bother fetching them even once.
That is not a content problem. It is Google saying the domain has not
earned the crawl.
The lesson I would give myself in July: publishing more pages does nothing
until something links to you. I had the order backwards. Writing 40 pages
before earning a single link just built a bigger queue for Google to
ignore.
Doing the boring stuff now.

Zero indexing is a clear distribution problem, but is SEO actually holding back an otherwise validated product? Do you have enough organic/direct users to know Fit. is retaining people before investing heavily in links?
