Created an onboarding survey for users fitness goals and then chose and scheduled workout routines based on their selection. Also, going forward the next step is to add push notification capabilities so that scheduled workout routines will send you a push notification the day of a scheduled workout as a reminder.
Did a redesign of the app making the features I wanted more accessible to people. The main one was allowing users to create their own custom workout routines. Also, enlisted some beta testers to give me some feedback. I recommend using betafamily.
So far from the app store optimization perspective, I have been trying out some new screenshots and that showed a slight increase in installs.

After much work this year and balancing this with a full time job I did a lot of work on the App Store Optimization for Fit Workout Routine. This consisted of trial and error on different app screenshots and tons of keyword research to increase app store visibility.
In terms of app updates I created a new feature to create reusable workout routines for different muscle groups that you are working out. Also, a calendar to keep track of how many days you worked out each month. This is to keep you accountable for your workouts from a month to month basis.

Released Fit Workout Routine to product hunt and success with gaining some visibility post launch (https://www.producthunt.com/products/fit-workout-routine).
Also, released the chart feature to track weight progression for a certain exercise. Personally, this is a feature that I always wanted to get a visual representation of how much progress I'm making for strength exercises.
Finally, released a button to share exercises via sms message/email so you can plan a workout and send your planned workout to a friend.

With the new personal record tracker listed on each individual exercise you can see the highest amount of reps and weight you have been able to complete. Also, new exercise videos have been uploaded giving a wider array of exercise in the exercise library.
Coming up next will be a graph representing the historical progression of weight a user can lift for a given exercise.

I have recently started weights, I don't think having a library is of help. For most people motivation is the issue, it will be great if there is a workout plan that builds habit, even one repetition counts or the minimum you can do get benefits
There is a great podcast on hubermanlab that just focuses on 3-5 sets of olympic lifting.
I would love to have a workout based on that
With the redesign of the weekly workout log you can tell which body part you worked out that day, or which body part groups you are planning to train in the future. Also, included in the redesign is a "Mark as Complete" button to let you know that the exercise has been completed with the desired number of sets in the workout. Hope you enjoy the new updates at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fit-workout-routine/id6444746073?ign-itscg=30200&ign-itsct=apps_box_badge

Coming soon the Featured Workouts tab will introduce smarter recommended workout system. For example, a chest and back day workout will be recommended for a push-pull workout. Also, if you are short on equipment or want to do a quick at-home workout there will be a category for bodyweight only workouts.
Since I have started planning and logging my workouts I have seen a pretty favorable result in terms of knowing what I want to do at the gym. Gone are the days of randomly thinking of what exercises to do... With the weekly planner in Fit Workout Routine I know what body parts I want to workout out, and I just log them to see my progress each workout.
