Track how AI search engines mention and recommend your brand
FixAEO does two things:
Tracks whether AI assistants — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and others — mention or recommend your brand when someone asks for a recommendation.
Helps you get cited. It finds the gaps in why AI isn't picking you, and gives you the fixes and content to become the answer it recommends.
Think of it as rank tracking plus SEO, but for AI search instead of Google.
Honest scorecard after ~2 months live:
~1,760 visitors
420+ free scans run, across ~160 different brands and sites
4 paying customer
What didn't work: I leaned on the free scan as the hook. People ran it, saw their score, said "neat," and left. A one-time number gives no reason to come back or pay.
What's working now: framing it as ongoing help, not a one-off audit. AI answers shift week to week, and companies don't just want to know they're invisible — they want the steps to fix it. Selling the "get cited" outcome lands better than selling a dashboard.
The thing that moved the needle on trust: an editorial writeup in a founder newsletter (Fake Mayo). No money changed hands — just a real story. That did more for credibility than any launch post.
Still small, still figuring out free-to-paid. Happy to answer anything about the AEO/GEO space.
About
AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini are becoming a new discovery layer for brands, but there was no way to check if your brand shows up in those answers. FixAEO fixes that.

I'm curious what convinced you companies ultimately buy ongoing visibility rather than simply wanting to understand how AI currently sees their brand.
Was there a specific point where you realized the value wasn't measuring AI mentions—it was helping businesses influence how those answers evolve over time?
