Flat Rate Automotive Technician Hour Tracking App
Today I launched a brand new version of my app. I used all of the knowledge I gained from other small projects to reconfigure my app to be faster, more reliable, and prettier. I know the target for my app is not that large, but this site really wasn't created to get rich. I really wanted to help automotive technicians not lose money from being underpaid. As long as the platform pays for the hosting and maybe gives me some additional profit, that is all I care about.
After almost a whole month with a few free trials but no subscribers, I finally got my first paying customer. I was very pleased. I then used that money to create a very, very small ad campaign on Facebook advertising that led to a few more paying customers.

After months of hard work and testing different versions of the application, I finally made the application public. I started off with the application written in PHP, but later decided I'd learn Node JS and rewrote the application while learning Node. I am glad I chose to learn Node JS as it pushed me to learn a whole bunch of new technologies.

I needed a way to track my flat rate flagged hours as an automotive technician. I thought other technicians had the same problem.
