Everyone obsesses over posting. Hooks, carousels, thread structure, posting times. Fine.

But if you look at how relationships actually get built on LinkedIn or X, it's in the replies. A good comment on someone's post does more than a polished post of your own. It's how you get on people's radar without needing 10k followers first.

The problem is replying well takes time. You have to actually read the post, have a point of view, write something that sounds like you and not like a LinkedIn bot saying "Great insights, Sarah!"

So most people either:

1. Don't reply at all

2. Drop a generic "love this" and move on

3. Try to use one of those AI comment tools and get something that sounds like ChatGPT wearing a suit

I got tired of option 3 specifically. The voice was always off. So I built something for myself first.

It's a Chrome extension called FliesReplies. It reads the post, then drafts a reply in your voice (based on your actual writing, not a generic "professional" tone). You can edit before posting. Works on LinkedIn and X.

Five people are using it. I'm launching on Product Hunt tomorrow. Two things I'd genuinely like to hear from this community:

1. If you reply regularly on LinkedIn or X, what's your actual workflow? Do you batch it? Wing it? Avoid it?

2. If you've tried AI comment tools and bounced, what specifically made you bounce?

Not fishing for upvotes. Trying to figure out if the "voice" problem is the real problem or if I'm solving the wrong thing.
