Create beautiful PDF Flipbooks in seconds
Done! Today I launched and it has been fairly well received.
I've not has as much interaction as I did on a previous product launch but the sign-ups have been good with people testing out the functionality. No-one has come back and disputed my main sell...
"Create a beautiful PDF Flip Booklet in seconds", just based on that I'd call it a win.
Let's see where this leads!
Based on some good feedback for people I've decided to get out of my own way and launch on Product Hunt tomorrow (with a special offer too).
If I don't do it, I'll never know. If it does well, great. If not I will learn from this and improve.
Wish me luck!

I initially had been "getting ready" to launch on Product Hunt back in March time until I got cold feet. Although I love what I've built, will anyone else? I did a little market research before building but mainly started just because I wanted to do it, as a personal project.
I've received some great feedback from those I've reached out to but since they are existing contacts I now worry they weren't honest about the product. It is not that I don't trust them all but I think validation from sources unknown is the best type of validation. Now looking a the product as a whole, scalability and maintenance may be an issue if I got a lot of users on the current platform. I might have to "upgrade" my MVP before I even launch.
Have you ever had Product Hunt launch fright that threw you off?

The MVP is ready so I've setup a website and service and will begin to promote it shortly. I've selected the domain name based on keyword research and I think I am good to go!
I've decided to not try and launch on Product Hunt straight away but see if I can get any interest organically first. I am in no rush with this one and since it is a side project I can have it ticking along with other projects I am working on.

After using a few PDF "Flip Book" services over the years it has always struck me how hard most are to use and configure and how they don't look very good. Even the online services take too long to setup and are not intuitive for the non-tech-savvy.
I decided to fill those gaps with my service. My goals...
• Build an "all in one" service to create and host PDF Flip Books
• Make it simple
• Make it quick
• Have the end result look and "feel" great
Let's see how I get on.

Creating nice interactive PDF reading experiences online shouldn't be hard but often it is. Downloading software, configuring the setup generating the code, uploading via FTP even online services take too long to setup.
