Got our waitlist up to 2k potential users right ahead of launch.

We did this mainly using my personal Twitter account to drive consistent intrigue and traffic to the brand handle @sayfloat.

I had initially planned to get to 1k waitlisters, so we doubled our goal.

We offered a limited number of lifetime deals at $139 ahead of launch to my main Twitter audience and a couple of Notion communities.

We ended up selling 80 LTDs and put ~$12k in the bank before launch as a nice little nest egg.

Can't wait to get some MRR!

I was trying to create my own course, and I had all my notes in Notion already.

I quickly started learning some important lessons:

Course creation platforms are expensive, hard to learn, and don't live where your notes do.

So I wanted to create an app that takes the notes you have in Notion and turns them into a course instantly.
