FlowSRE

Outcome verification for n8n automations

August 28, 2026 I built FlowSRE in a week — it catches n8n workflows that succeed but don't actually do the job

I spent the last week building and launching FlowSRE, a SaaS for verifying the actual business outcome of n8n automations.
The problem I'm trying to solve is pretty simple:
An n8n workflow can finish with SUCCESS, while the thing it was supposed to accomplish never actually happened.
For example:
n8n status: SUCCESS
Expected: status = qualified
Actual: row missing
FlowSRE: FALSE SUCCESS
Instead of treating a green execution as proof that everything worked, FlowSRE independently checks the destination system against an Outcome Contract.
The first provider is Google Sheets. FlowSRE can verify that the expected row exists, check expected field values, retry for eventual consistency, and create an incident with expected vs. actual evidence when the outcome is wrong.
I built the whole thing as a solo side project and it's now live in production with auth, multi-tenant workspaces, billing, alerts, incident tracking and a free plan.

I'm now looking for the first people running n8n in production to try it on real workflows.
I'm particularly interested in one question: have you ever had an n8n execution show SUCCESS while the actual business result was missing or wrong?
Any feedback is welcome.

The “successful execution, wrong outcome” distinction is interesting.

Curious whether this shows up often enough in real workflows that teams actively look for it, rather than only noticing it after something breaks.

FlowSRE was built to solve a reliability gap in workflow automation. An n8n execution can report SUCCESS even when the expected business outcome is missing or incorrect. FlowSRE independently verifies the actual result s
