Fluentyx
An all-in-one Arabic learning platform powered by AI.
I spent months building Fluentyx β a platform that teaches Arabic using AI, not textbooks.
No paywall. No disturbing ads. Just open learning.
It uses:
LangChain + HuggingFace for real-time conversations and answer grading
A CNN (built with PyTorch) that checks your handwritten Arabic letters
Smart feedback, not just "correct/wrong"
π₯ This isnβt Duolingo. Itβs way deeper, and it understands what you say and write.
Why Arabic? Because 400M+ speak it β and most tools either ignore it or treat it like a side dish. Fluentyx is Arabic-first.
I made this for learners, not monetization β but now I want feedback:
Would you use this to learn a new language?
What would you change or add?
If you like it, share it with someone learning Arabic.
Try it here π https://fluentyx.vercel.app
Screenshots, demo GIFs,
or roast β Iβm open to all.
Most language apps skip Arabic or oversimplify it. I wanted to change that β so I built Fluentyx, a fully AI-powered platform to learn Arabic from scratch to fluency, 100% free and open to all.
π Why Arabic?
Itβs spoken by 400+ million people, but is underrepresented on most edtech platforms.
It has a unique alphabet, grammar, and pronunciation system that needs specialized tools, not one-size-fits-all templates.
There's a growing demand β from travelers, heritage learners, to tech professionals wanting to tap into MENA markets.
π‘ What Makes Fluentyx Different?
AI Tutor: Chat in Arabic, get real-time corrections and scores. Built using LangChain + HuggingFace.
Handwriting Detection: Learners can draw Arabic letters and get feedback β thanks to a CNN model built with PyTorch.
Smart Feedback: Not just right/wrong β we explain why, using NLP.
MCQ + Grammar Games to reinforce core concepts.
No fluff, no subscription, just meaningful Arabic learning β free for all.
Fluentyx isnβt trying to be "Duolingo but Arabic." It's built for Arabic from the ground up.
I'm building in public β would love to hear what you think, or if you'd ever tried learning Arabic (or wanted to!).

Hey Indie Hackers π
I built Fluentyx, a 100% free Arabic learning platform that blends AI with language education β no paywalls, no upsells, just a passion project to make Arabic accessible to everyone.
π‘ Key Features:
AI Tutor for interactive Arabic conversations (LangChain + HuggingFace)
Auto Grading: Learners get instant scores and feedback from AI
Handwriting Recognition: Built a CNN using PyTorch to recognize handwritten Arabic letters (great for early learners!)
Gamified Learning with MCQs, levels, and feedback
We had ~1500 monthly visitors, but now it's dropped to just a few views a day. π«
No ads. No SEO. Just pure organic effort β and itβs plateaued.
Iβd love your feedback on:
1. Where would you promote something like this?
2. What growth channel worked best for you early on?
3. Any feedback on the site or idea? Brutal honesty welcome
Would appreciate any ideas, collaborations, or just a little boost.
Thanks IH family!

I built one of the most advanced Arabic learning platforms β and almost nobody knows about it.
Fluentyx started as a simple idea:
Can one person build an entire Arabic learning system thatβs truly free, AI-integrated, and effective β without a team, funding, or paid tools?
So I built it.
πΉ An AI tutor that guides learners from alphabet to fluency β powered by LangChain.
πΉ Answer checking and instant scoring using Hugging Face models β no generic feedback, just real evaluation.
πΉ A handwriting recognition engine built with PyTorch CNN β trained to recognize and grade Arabic letters written by hand.
πΉ Fully browser-based, no app install, no cost, no paywall. Just you and the language.
All of it works. The AI works. The handwriting checker works. The system teaches.
The only thing that didnβt work?
Marketing.
I launched it quietly. 1500+ monthly visitors came in... then dropped to 2β3 a day.
Not because it failed.
But because I didnβt know how to show the world what I built.
So here I am, showing you now.
If you know someone learning Arabic β or you just want to see what a solo dev + AI can build β take a look.
Iβd love your feedback, support, and ideas.

This is incredibly well thought out β building a specialized AI tutor with real-time grading and handwriting recognition is a huge leap beyond most generic language apps.
As a SaaS coach, I love seeing products that go deep on one underserved use case (like Arabic-first learning) instead of trying to be everything for everyone.
If youβre open to it, Iβd be happy to offer feedback on early monetization strategies that align with your mission β especially if you're considering going beyond MVP. Amazing work!
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! Iβd absolutely appreciate your insights on monetization, especially since we want to stay mission-aligned while expanding beyond MVP. Would love to connect!
