Financial insights, not just financial data.

June 17, 2026 I got tired of living in spreadsheets to understand my own business finances

I'm a co-founder of a startup. And for a long time, getting a clear picture of our finances meant opening five different tabs, exporting CSVs, reconciling numbers by hand, and still not being 100% sure the figures were right.

The frustrating part? It wasn't a skill problem. The data existed. It was just scattered everywhere.

Most finance tools either assume you have a full finance team, or they're basic bookkeeping software that just logs what already happened. Neither tells you what's actually going on right now—cash flow, spend, runway—in a way you can act on.

So I built Fnivo.

It pulls all your financial data into one place, keeps it updated in real time, and gives you a clear view of cash flow, spending, and runway—without needing a CFO or a finance degree. Fully customizable so it fits how your business actually works, not the other way around.

We're live now. If you're a founder or running a small team and you're tired of guessing your way through financial decisions, I'd love for you to try it.

The finance visibility gap usually shows up downstream too, once cash flow is clear the next uncertainty is what actually caused it, which client went quiet, which lead never got followed up, which job slipped. Financial data explains what happened, it rarely explains why the number moved. Curious if Fnivo connects the runway view back to the operational events driving it, or if that link still lives in someone's head.

The ‘data exists but scattered everywhere’ problem is real for almost every early team. Curious how you’re reaching founders and small teams right now beyond IH? That audience is specific but very reachable through the right channels.

    Interesting angle.

What stood out to me is that most founders don't complain about a lack of financial data. They complain about a lack of confidence in the decisions they're making from it.

Curious whether you've seen users care more about visibility itself, or about reducing uncertainty around specific decisions like hiring, spending, or runway.

About

Managing money at a small company is harder than it should be—data scattered everywhere, no clear picture. Fnivo brings it all into one place, in real time, so founders can decide what's next.
