FocusTube

After 25 days stuck in a Chrome Web Store review (and one rejection for a permission issue) FocusTube is finally live!

It's a Chrome extension that uses AI to classify what you're watching on YouTube as either productive or destructive based on your goals. This means that tutorials can play uninterrupted, but rabbit holes or spirals can get caught.

I built it because I've had an issue watching YouTube. I don't want to get rid of it because there's a lot of useful stuff, but equally, I spent 57 hours in a month watching YouTube.

I tried all the different blockers out there; however, none understood the actual issue. I don't want to remove YouTube. I just want to filter out bad content when it comes up.

Looking for honest feedback from real users: what works, what doesn't, what's missing.
