Free MP3 to Text Converter
We’ve all been there. You have a quick audio recording, an interview snippet, or a voice memo that you need to turn into text. You Google "MP3 to text free," click on the top results, and then the frustration begins:
"Please create an account to view your transcript."
"Your file is 5 minutes long, but the free tier only supports 1 minute."
"Upgrade to premium to download your text file."
It felt like the simple utility market had become incredibly hostile to users who just want to get a quick job done.
That’s why I decided to build a no-nonsense alternative.
🛠️ The Tech & Approach
I wanted to leverage modern AI transcription capabilities to build something lightning-fast, highly accurate, but most importantly—frictionless.
The goal was simple: Come to the site, drop your file, get your text, and leave. No sign-up funnels, no hidden paywalls, and no annoying email capture popups.
🎯 Current Status & What's Next
This is the very first version, and it is completely browser-based and free to use. I’m heavily focusing on optimizing the processing speed and ensuring the transcription accuracy is top-tier.
Since I'm building this in public, I would absolutely love to get your feedback:
How is the transcription accuracy for your use case?
Is the UI intuitive enough?
What features should I prioritize next (e.g., more audio formats, multiple language support, or timestamping)?

I'd appreciate any roast, feedback, or suggestions from fellow indie hackers! Let me know what you think in the comments below.
About
Transcribing audio files manually is incredibly tedious, and many existing tools either hide behind heavy paywalls or force users through annoying sign-up funnels just to convert a simple audio file.

You hit the nail on the head! This tool is an absolute must-have for clean social media profiles.
I always use the Quick Italic Generator to emphasize key phrases—it looks so much better than just asterisks. And if you want to explore all the bold, tiny, and wavy fonts, you need to Visit the Main FontGen Tool.
